I use Krylon Fusion paint on my interior and plastic parts. Its specially made for plastic and it seems to match pretty close. You can get it at Wally World.

You have to take the whole airbag out. That "cover" is attatched so that when the airbag goes off the plastic rips and lets the airbag out. I just took the whole airbag out by taking the glove box out, then getting at the screws underneath the airbag, then I just painted the cover. Works great and if you get paint on the airbag, who cares? You won't see it.

My favorite interior mods? All the ones that I have done so far of course!

'01 Explorer leather power seats...just put them in last week and have ordered new seat cushions/foam from the ford dealer to freshen them up. My Ranger was already equipped with factory bucket seats so I want to keep the factory center console. Never did really like the Explorer ones.

'00 Explorer OHC that has worked flawlessly for 2 years now with white LED bulbs

'00 Explorer Dome light with map lights and white LED bulbs

The 20% tint on the side door windows match the factory tint on the rear supercab and back windows and that helps on the interior

'99 Explorer auto-dimming rear view mirror and yes I did take the time to hook up the auto-lamp function although I never use it.

'01 Explorer double sunvisors with lighted vanity mirrors and the factory buttons to learn your garage door code. Much more tidy than having that pesky garage door opener hanging around inside...lol

4 Pioneer 3-way 6x8 speakers

An Alpine 9856 head unit with a Sirius reciver box and I-pod interface. Can't ask for much more than that, I never listen to regular radio anymore.

Locking glove box mod from a Ford Taurus (to partially satisfy Ohios concealed carry law although I have a locked pistol holder also that the gun never leaves).

Auto Down passenger side window mod.

Also, lots of cleaning and not smoking, eating, or getting in the truck dirty makes it look and smell nice.

I thought you could carry a pistol in any vehicle because it is on your property? unless Ohio is just different...

Hi, folks. My first post!

Mudranger96, your truck colors are my old school colors. That orange and black scheme looks GREAT!

Now if I could just do it to my '89 extended cab...
