Icon4 Gauge cluster

I wanna put blue leds behind my gauge cluster and my hvac how do i do it. does anyone have pics on how i can do it?? I seen it in some trucks and im going for the blue look and with the green on the gauges and hvac it throws it off. Can someone help me??

this seems like its really hard to do there instead of doing the leds can i just sand off those areas that are green and paint them blue??

yeah. there's tons of LED threads....search 'em out. I went individual 5mm LED's because from my experiece, plug-in 194's suck in the clusters. They may have improved in the past couple years since I went this route with the gauges, but i don't know.


google 'john griggs cardomain' and find his cardomain page....it's FULL of how-to's and it's what my clusters inspiration came from. Gonna have to go page by page to find the cluster color mod.

nail polish remover and a Q-tip works for the green tint on the back and there is a site called autolumination.com that sells the 194 size plug in replacements... I used them on my previous cars and will be using them in the new ranger as well! they work great and most are very good for no hotspots as well!
