well my seats dont match my interior but i cant complain since everything was free. but they need a good cleaning. what the best way to clean these seats? and im thinking about painted them black with the dupli-color interior paint i have used on the rest of interior and it holding up great. i saw on trucks a long time ago they took acetone or alcohol or something and cleaned with it and it was suppose to open the pores in the seats so the paint would stick better. does anyone remember that? because i really want black seats since the rest of my interior is black.

not sure about that

for the seat belts, remove the seabelt track and drill out the hole that is kind of up and behind the seat belt buckle to 7/16 and nut and bolt the buckle to the seat

I wouldn't paint them. I don't think it would come out as good as you would hope

I say sell'em. I wish I had that bumper. I'm needing a non chrome one so my painter can turn it DSG and replace my chrome one.

paint will stick to the seats for a wile but it will wear out soner are later i dont it to a old car we had paint lasted about 3 months and then it had spots that was war off i would just get em recovered.

Just get some seat covers. A lot cheaper than getting them recovered and will last longer than getting them painted.

You're gonna end up with black on all your clothes after a while...

Don't do it. Just sell em and get new ones if you desperately need black leather.
