The temp sensor should have been on the front under the driver side headlight attached to the front of the frame rail. I think I've got one I'd sell ya. The harness you should've pulled when you got the OHC.

I took almost the whole harness out of the headliner when I got mine. Even the piece for the autodim mirror.

yeah you shoulda taken it. My yard would have charged the same whether I had the harness or not, so I always try and get extra.

just get the harness with any amount of wire and you'll be fine. may as well get the temp sensor while you're at it.

Are those hinges a direct swap, or is fitting required?

For some reason I thought i read you had to use 2 driver side ones or maybe 2 passenger side ones.

you can use one of each but the pass side requires some fitting but 2 drivers will bolt right up

Wondering if these hinges will work with the Plastic Power Dome Hood, thinking cracking at the Strut Mounting points ?

Since it's all in the hinge mechanism, I'm gonna say no. It was made to support the weight at those points anyway, and you're not adding any new holes to the hood.

OLD thread, but the above link doesn't work.

Has anyone done this with the explorer hinges? I have read you need two driver side hinges from the Explorer for our ranger.

Figure it's a long shot with the OP posting up an update but wanted to see. Would much rather go this route than the side struts that get in the way.

Thanks,
-Nigel
