guage painting issues...PICS BELOW

Alright so on my 06, the 194 LEDs don't fit. The idiot lights are already LEDS, which is all irrelevent to my ?. I tryed to pull the needles off, but they wouldnt budge. No auto parts stores in town knew what a needle remover was, which is understandable. So what i did was took a razor blade and cut from where the needle hole was outward about an inch, i cut 3 spots for each guage. Pulled them off scraped and painted them, now heres my ?. What should i use to re seam the cuts? my girlfriend suggested white nail polish, but i wanted to see if anybody else had a better idea.

Super Glue??

For future reference you can use a fork from your kitchen to pop off the needles.

well thats not a bad idea. I was hoping that there was some kind of plastic bondo or something. The kitchen fork thing didnt work i tried that. I actually still have it in my pocket. looking at the guage needle it looks like the metal tip is wider than the plastic it sits in. Any who any kind of wonder plastic bondo out there i dont know about??

I put gauges in a Cavalier I had awhile back, and I think the instructions said to use a spoon to pop them off. Worked like a charm. You butchered your gauges. Time for a do-over.

alright well its been a few weeks and im gonna try and fix the gauges with the plastic putty. also i found some clearish blue tape since the paint has started flaking off. This is the last step before getting a new cluster for me so wish me luck.
