I wouldn't mind having a set like those in black and tan. I was thinking they'd match the doors and the console nicely too.

They actually can, there is a plastic piece that goes over the edge of the fabric and metal frame of the seat(I think), It could come apart, but you'd basically be taking the entire seat apart and have to put it back together. You'd probably be better of just cleaning it like normal.

I'm actually looking at my passenger L2 seat....and it's got the same little plastic clips that hook to the seat frame. Gotta pull the recline lever, lumbar handle. Other than that...it looks like it'll just come right off. I wonder if this is the method of which I should clean my new seats?? Throw them in the washer and dryer. hmmm....

I actually wanted to get the black and grey insert ones. I should have bought a set about a year ago at a HUGE swapmeet. He wanted $200....I offered $150....Then I walked. I'm not disappointed...I only forked out $75 for these. BAM@!

The dryer might melt the plastic clips. I can't decide if I would rather have the Black and tan seats form a Ranger or power leather seats from an Explorer or Mustang seats... Hard decision.

won't melt if you air dry. hmmm. I think i'll just drop the seats off at a detail place and have them do it for me. I don't have the time to detail these things myself.

They cleaned up nice. You going to paint anything black or leave it grey.

leave the rest grey. I think i have a good ratio between black & grey......Interior is getting really close to being a 03.......i got my seats, door panels, possibly getting silver gauges. Next on my list are black seat belts.

Yea.....i went out into the yard (escorted though) lol.....they had plenty of 60/40s out there. There were some nice 01-02 dark grey/grey buckets w/ dark grey shorty console for $200. That was the deal i worked out with the guy. Also a set 04-05 tallbacks that were black/grey inserts w/ black shorty console for $200. I was looking for seats for a buddy of mine. He expected the deal I got. lol. The place was Foster Auto Parts, on foster in clackamas. Remember, I got a sweeeet deal because they put the item up on ebay. And they sold be the seats at the ebay price.

Nope...not anymore. At least that yard. LKQ bought out Foster Auto Parts and FAP's U pull it yards. Foster Auto Parts is all later model. I say i saw like 10 vipers wrecked there....all in one little corner of the yard. They used to let folks go out and check out what your buying. U go tell them what you need, they take you in a parts van and couple other customers...yall do our thing, they pull the parts, you buy the parts. Now...you have to buy that $250 bumper before you even see it. $35 minimum for a part.

Buying those seats was awesome. It made me like FAP again. I don't deal with the counter bozos anymore...i go straight back to the ebay guy. Walked out the other day with a handfull of little stuff......$15!

I got a yard down here like that. They let you go out and get what you need and everything is pretty cheap. Every time i tell them I'm there for Ranger parts the guy always says good at least someone wants them.

lol. Ya. I like looking at the new arrivals...un picked...just dropped off. Those are the ones i love. I just got my name on an EDGE floor for $25. That one has a nice grille and bumper and valencethat I have no use for. Hell the littel brother don't wanna do the conversion he's been talking about for like 4 years. lol.
