How to remove cup holder from Tranny tunnel?

I just got a 2002 Ranger XLT. There is a black plastic box with two cup holders mounted on top of the Tranny tunnel. I want to remove the unit. I cannot find any screws to remove. The unit seems to be attached by a bolt in the middle of it. I can swivel the unit a little clockwise or counterclockwise around this mount. Maybe I need to simply raise the plastic unit and it will 'pop off' of a stud. Can anyone offer me some advice?

you need to take the little rubber mats out or the cup parts, then you'll see to ***** (you can see them in this pic) to twist then it should come out.

"Casper98" --Thanks for the info. I removed it today. The reason I wanted to remove it was to get access to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

chuck d,
Where is the Power Train Control Module ?
The one on the floor that the Cup Holder covers is the Air Bag Safety Restraint Module !
At least that is what I have been told.
