When going over bumps there is a loud "clanking" sound coming from the center console/cup holder piece that bolts to the floor. I'd like to remove it and see where exactly the noise could be coming from.

How is this bolted to the floor, or does the entire thing just snap out of place?

 

in the cup holder there are these black rubber cover. remove those covers and youll see some plastic pins with a really big slot, just use a quarter and turn the pin and it will release
