i just bought my first mod

well i was just looking around on ebay for stuff for the truck when i came across some red LED's. it come's with 6 of them, all the wires and a switch for $20 and $8 for s&h. i'll get some pics when i install them but for now here is what they looks like on ebay click here

sounds good... youll love them, i accdently left mine on for about 30 hours and never noticed and my battery wasnt even effected....

EAch LED only uses 1/10 of a watt of power. If you could replace every light in your truck with LEDs you would have a tiny bit better performance because of reduced alternator load. Nothin noticeable probably though.

Do you have any pics of what the kit looks like? Just wondering how the LED would be secured under the dash.

not yet. they wont b here 4 about 14 day's, but when i put them on i'll take pics on how i did it.

If you are going to do exhaust, I highly recommend the original 40 series. Mine sounds really good. If you are interested, I can put up a clip sometime.

Do the lift first so the exhaust doesn't look funny hanging down after the lift.

idk man it really does look wierd with them 3 inches lower, but if you like it go for it... congrats on the mod
