Insert Bucket Seats - Water Spots

Long story short, I left my windows cracked a little too much yesterday and we had a downpour. My seats are black with gray inserts, and the black part looks like it has water spots on them even though I know they are dry. I remember the same thing happening to my other 05 Ranger. Has anyone seen this happen to their insert seats? What is the best way to get rid of them? I wish I had an upholstery cleaner, but I don't! Tips/suggestions welcome!

Try a mixture of a little bit of dish soap and water to spot clean it.

Its just when it got wet - all of the dirt is attracted to the water.. then it dries out and you have spots of dirt that need to be scrubbed and sucked off...

I.E. - Get some simple green, spray it down, softly scrub it with a brush and use like a shop-vac or something to suck it off.

Well, solved my problem. Took my mother's steam cleaner, used the hand held attachment and cleaned the floors, mats and upholstery. It looks great! I also went to Majestic Solutions, and bought some awesome stuff for wiping down all the plastics. I will post up pictures tomorrow. I literally spent close to 6 hours on the inside of my truck. Well worth it, now time to hit the outside when all this rain leaves the East coast!

I bet it smells good in there. I know when I steam cleaned my interior it smelled GREAT! I just sat in it and breathed a lot. Haha
