Installing OHC: Does this look right? Regular Cab..

I took off my headliner and this is what I see:


is there suppose to be a gap? or do I have it in the wrong spot?


I got my ohc for $15

All the threads I can find are extended cabs like:

notice the lack of those 2 bumps with slits?

that looks about right james, thats the way it looked in my 01 reg cab

theres not a difference is there? rangercrazy07 is gonna help me with mine. he did his and his is a single cab.

see if the tabs on the OHC will line up where those slots are that you are pointing out.

no they do not line up. I just did my OHC install tonight. I used a self tapping screw on the back because the way mine sat it was too low in the back.

Had a good idea.. just got lazy on the execution of it..


looks like my ohc is giving birth to lil one!

that is the detector half hanging out.. one piece system board ftl..

Go to this thread and print a copy of the OHC mounting template. Use it to verify hole locations and fit before you cut anything.

The picture above is the ohc installed!

now I gotta make the detector fit better..

i put his ohc in at the knox meet for him. his never looked like that they changed some stuff on the newer trucks thats why its different
