Hey all.

Was tearing apart my trucks interior yesterday and came across some mildew/dirt and other things that will make me look into buying replacement carpet for entire floor. Currently it's a rubber floor and it needs replacing.

Called the local dealership about the availablity/price......

$491.00.....

HOLY CRAP!

Is this normal for dealerships to bone their customers so badly????

I really have no choice, unless you guys know where I can get it cheaper than that, like PartSource, or Crappy Tire...have a suggestion perhaps?

Hey man try either that ebay auction OR JCwhitney... most of the time they'll have replacement stuff. I never knew stylin concepts had that stuff... very interesting. Just go for the plastic and not the carpet like an edge. so the water won't soak up just stay in a puddle and evaporate :D

A 2002 and it already needs new rubber mat? Damn. Have you considered cleaning it, or are there holes and rips? I cleaned mine up nicely with 409 cleaner and a brush, and it was pretty dirty. A heavy duty fabric cleaner could probably get a lot of the dirt and mildew out of the mat. $10 in cleaning supplies is a lot cheaper than the alternative.

After you install the new carpet, consider buying a nice floor mat (your choice of rubber, vinyl, or carpet) for each side. It will save a lot of wear and tear on the carpet. If you shop around, you'll find some nice ones, some with great colors and two-tone colors and with emblems or designs.
