interior door chime

i tried searching for it, but i cant find it. I'd like to disconnect the door chime on my 01. Is it possible to do this?

This kills the chime completely:

This gives you a pushbutton to temporarily turn it off in the ACC position.

So according to that thread, I could just solder all three wires together, insulate them and be done? You've got to be kidding. It will take longer to get the bezel off!

Yup, just cut the yellow/black and tap the harness end into the grey/red. Easy.

I found the little chimer thingy when doing my OHC... filled it up w/ superglue... can still hear it, but really faint...
