Aight in all honesty I'm pretty lazy right now and its hot as hell so I dont really feel like sitting outside and figuring out how this thing comes apart so I was wondering if any of yall knew step by step how this thing came apart so i could remove the old one and put the replacement console that I purchased in...

i think theres screws in the cupholders that are hidden, under of course...

 

sorry i guess i should have been more specific....the center console/armrest that mounts on the 60/40 the one without the cupholder on it....it looks like it just screws in from the side but i cant figure out how the hell to get the plastic covers off and i dont want to break them....

 

its kind of a pain to remove the seat first has to come out and then underneath the seat is three bolts that hold it in and then depending on the seat the fabric so be velcrowd together and it can be slipped out i will take pics tomorrow of a step by step on how to take it off.

also can you tell me how to take the cupholder out so i can paint it?

mine is a solid top...so i dont have a cup holder to try to remove....they didnt start putting those in until either late in the 01 models or the 02 models...i got one of the october 00 production line with the solid top
