needle help
ok so i took the needels off to change the color of the cluster...went to put the needels back on like fx4wannabe01...wel when i put it on 70 the needle gose to 120 insted of zero??? i need to get this done tonight...anyhelp would be greatly appreciated
Hopefully you remembered to take a pic of your needles when the engine was warm, so you know here to place then when you re-install your cluster, engine warm of course.
That goes for tach, water, oil, volt, and fuel gauges. get it warm to normal operating temp, then press them on lightly, confirm position, push them more on the shaft.
Now you speedo....
#1: Are you following the how-to with the wires and the AA battery? The vid pretty much covers it all. The needle goes to 120? Is the cluster vertical when doing the battery trick + install of needle? Just to remind: to place the needle back onto the shaft, you need to do the battery trick AND install the needle simultainiously.
