Icon7 New bench mod :)

Hey everybody,

I was searching craigslist the other day and someone had a bench seat for a mini van on it for free. I went and picked it up. I still need to fab the brackets and paint the seat black. But here it is.

Thx for the comments everyone. I have always loved bench seats in trucks now I almost have one. As stated above I still need to paint the seat black so it will soon match the interior. Anyone recommend some good fabric paint? I was thinking "Simply Spray" thats the name of it.

Some black spray paint should do you well! It was the first thing that popped into my head when you said you were going ot paint the seat. I've never really heard of painting seats.

Paint will most likely come off on your cloths after a while.

The paint I was thinking about is spray on fabric paint Thinking about it though I will prolly just do a seat cover for now. Not quiet sure what kind of van it came from. I got it from Fedral Storage a storage company it was left by a customer. They told me it came from a GM.

Its installed! Alot of grinding and hacking but I made it work. I still need to file down a couple sharp edges, get a seat cover, and modify where the backrest locks in place but other then that its done :)

The seat belts work perfectly and with no warning light aswell. The pic below is how the thing is mounted.
