New interior addition

I finall got my "Winter Project" done this weekend. It's a project that I originally started when I got my '04 7(!) years ago, but at the time, I wasn't happy with how it was tuning out.
Pulled it back out of the basement a while back and totally revamped it. I'm pretty happy with how it came out. Let me know what you think.

That's a prop rod that I made to hold the lids open. I originally had a lid support on each side, but I couldn't get the geometry to work-out on them, so I went simple and made a couple of prop rods out of some 3/4" PVC that I had laying around-covered them in some 3M Di-Noc carbon fiber film I had left over from a previous project. They're mitered on one end and key into a hex nut screwed into the underside of the lid.
I'll see if i can get some dimensions up at some point. I hate to say it, but I'm already thinking of cutting it up and modding it a bit-it's a little bit too deep front-to-back, so my seats don't slide all the way back. Still debating.
Thanks
MikeR

Looks great. Is the sub a factory sub mount or did you make that also? Where is the amplifier located?

Factory Pioneer 290W system-Ford/Pioneer 6 disc head unit, Pioneer 6-1/2" sub in center console, Pioneeer 5-1/4" components in doors, Pioneer 6x8s in rear doors. $265 option when I ordered the truck. IIRC, the amp is integrated with the sub enclosure-it's been a while since I 've had it apart.

Diggin' up n old post--I've just started on Version 2.0 of this. Should I post step-by-step instructions in the "How To" section or in the "Project Logs" section? I will be posting pics, instructions, material list, and dimensions
This one's going into the "Classifieds" once 2.0 is done if anybody is interested.

I have a wood one just like that in my truck, not as fancy, and only 1 door since my sub sits on the other side and my amp is hidden underneath. REALLY makes me want to cover mine in carpet now though.

If I hadn't just built a new box for my subs, I'd be all over the old one!
