Icon5 non-tilt steering columb adjustment?

My truck doesn't have tilt. I was looking at something and noticed that the regular cabs with no tilt sat a little higher then mine. Mine sits almost strait up and down. I was wonder if there was any way to adjust it. I need it to go up about an inch or so. Any help would be great!

Been trying to hunt one down with no luck. Everyone I find is for an auto. Its possible, but is more of a PITA to swap.

you can swap the tilt "head" on to a non tilt column. if i remember the columns correctly, you can use either auto to 5 speed and get the same results. in fact, my tilt assembly came from a mustang. it's a little involved, but not impossible.

but there isn't any way to move a non tilt column up without cutting up the frame work.
