Mine fits perfect in the channel between the seats. Doesn't roll around or anything.
If someone makes me slam on the brakes, then it does slide forward a bit. But that's not bad, because then I can grab the flashlight and beat them with it.

I did an internet search and found them. It may have been maglites site because I ordered the holder and a new lense and some bilbs. The lense is available in plastic or glass. It's been over a year.
I like the pillar mount. That's the best I've seen.
I took out the back driverside seat on a two door ext cab. There's a cubby there that I mounted the clips to. It's out of the way and secure.

My Maglite mounts in a rear Supercab cupholder using one Maglite clip above. A Velcro pad in the bottom of the cupholder cushions the end of the flashlight. A fire extinguisher fits perfectly in the opposite side of the jack cover with the cupholder insert removed.
I find this to be a very convenient location for my purposes but it probably wouldn't work too well with children sitting back there.

I have a 4D maglite....mounted it on the interior plastic on hte "C" pillar, first I had the brackets screwed into the plastic, got worried someday the plastic may crack, crack in interior plastic = $$$, so I reinforced it with 1/8 inch steel on the back side on the plastic and used machine screws to fasted it. Works awesome.....here's pics:

My Ranger's a regular cab, and besides that, as we all know, the Ranger doesn't have many nooks and crannies and compartments to store small and medium sized items. So I got one of the organizers that hangs behind the seat from a strap that goes over the top of the seat. I put my Maglite in one of the pockets. You can store a lot of stuff in these and can get them in auto parts stores and the auto parts departments of big box stores like Walmart. They come in various sizes and with various compartments configurations. A number of companies make them, usually out of heavy duty nylon. They don't cost much either. I really like mine. Here's an example of one:

BTW, the B pillar in a reg. cab or C pillar in an extended cab, besides being a good place to mount a Maglite, is also a good place to mount one of those fire extinguishers that's about 3" in diameter and comes with a mounting bracket. That's where I've mounted a fire extinguisher.
