I wanna say they're a 5 or a 5.5....some weird *** size. Take those screws with you to a hardware store and replace 'em with phillips head machine screws!!! I did this when I did the pill grab handle conversion. EFF those weird sized hex head bs'ers!

I'm pretty sure it is a 5.5mm bolt head. Do yourself a favor and buy a high quality socket. They will turn up more often than you would think and nothing beats having the right tool for the job.

200 + socket set and no 5.5mm. Did know if I was going crazy or just drank to many that I could not find the socket. I was thinking 5.5 since 5 was to small and 6 was to big just did not know if it was standard. Thanks

seriously im pretty sure you can make a 7/32 fit. i didnt have any metric when i did mine

EDIT. more i think about it its either 7/32 or 9/32. but a standard size will work.

It's under the hood on one of the big connectors on the firewall. I can't remember the colour at the moment... I'm at work but if you don't get an answer I can check tonight!

I think I've got it sorted out now. Went to the dealer and it's the vi/wh going into the brown connector in the sjb.

Now to give it a try...

yeah the gaps are cos of the years...i think in 06 the headliner was changed. i used an orange/white (i think) wire inside my cab, and it worked, the wiring is also different in 08+ than 06-07

You can use scrap pieces of material to push the headliner down and fill in the gaps some

I did end up with a gap at the back edge of it. I'm going to try repositioning the mounting bracket and see if that take s some of it out. I probably won't get to that right away but I'll post results and pics after I do...

I filed the sides down a little bit to close-up the gaps-the area about where the dome light is. I just kind of flattened the curve where it meets the headliner out with a rasp-probably removed 1/8"-3/16" at the widest point. Tightened gaps up nicely.
