power locks/windows

I searched on here for info but couldnt find anything. I have manual windows and locks(have a 2000 XLT). Here are the two kits I have found. It doesnt really say how these are wired up. Know if my truck is rod or cable linkage locks? Are most bolt in installations plug and play? Does my truck already have the wiring and I just need to find the connections inside my truck and plug them in or am I going to have to wiring everything from scratch? Anybody ever installed them before? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I put the A1 electric power windows and locks (w/keyless) on my truck- they are a very good kit.. The stock wiring isnt there, you're pretty much going to have to wire them from scratch- I wanted the stock look so I opted for the oem switches, and bought the expensive ($200) wiring for both doors and wired the power, grounds, and power mirrors up with it.

I wish I had money so I could add this to my truck. This is one thing I wish I would have gotten on my truck when I got it. Good Luck with it.

I bought OEM wiring harnesses and used a manual and Bob to figure out what wire does what for the switches and hooked them up.. I have diagrams if you'd like.

That would be magnificent. I plan on doing this sometime in January. I was assuming that the kit would come with wiring diagrams.

I just got the window regulators (the bolt right in place of the manual regulators) and the power lock kit with keyless entry. Now if you get the A1 Electric switch kit it'll be pretty simple wiring.. but if you go the "stock look" route you'll need the pin diagram for the OEM switches
