questions on painting interior (not the same ones always asked!)

i now understand the process of washing with alchohol, sanding, and painting patiently thin coat by thin coat....but:

how do i get the dash vents off, the mirror vents and one closest to the windshield i mean....and while we're at it the left and right most vents that seem to be built into the mf'ing dash....oh yeah and the bezel where the instrument cluster is.

and would it be possible to paint the door arm rests? not the plastic where everyone paints, but the part right behind that, that's not really plastic, the part with the hole and the screw that you grip to close the door.

and a good brand of paint please....

thanks.

i recomend krylon fusion. it seems to be the best stuff. i think the round vents need a bit of persuasion, but, of course, be careful not the bend the slats. the other vents i think only the moving part comes out with some persuasion as well. are you talking about the bar thing that mounts to the piece that everybody paints? it can be done since the center bezel is covered in the same rubbery type stuff and i didnt scrape that off or anything like that.
