make sure you get ALLLLLLLLLL the rubber off of the bezel and door pieces. I've heard it takes forever to do that.

as fasr as interior I think gloss black would kickass, are you doing another color? or jsut all black? if you look at the lowered truck scene you'll notice a lot more 2 tone paint jobs around than before, it's coming back in style, not saying go out and paint your truck, but you may wanna think of a cool scheme for the inside.

Have you thought about tweed or vinyl for the inside?

not really i'm trying to keep the Off road/ Pre runner to my whole truck.... but my stock interior right now is tan and black and i couldn't think of any otehr color that would look as good as black so i'm sticking with black... and i'm thinking about going buckets and getting a explorer console some time down the road.... and the rubber stuff it pealing off of my bezel now so i should have a problem bringing it all up.. i'm also going to add gauge pods here pertty soon... but buckets with 5 point harness's is what i really want don't know why i just love that look... i'm up for ideas....but like i said..i'm trying to keep it off road senceable... now i have a system in my truck but thats about the extent and i have 4 Blue neons and one strobe the strobe blinks to the hi-hat or "ticks in rap music and the 2 floor board neons go to the bass and the 2 by the rear window make my R-F Sticker glow lol

I just did my radio face plate black yesterday, that goes along w/ my radio bezel, and my door trim peices, as well as the vent. i sandblasted my peices to get the rubber coating off. if you go the sandblasting way, you have to make sure you hold the spray nozzle in one place for a long period of time, cuz it will make a nasty cavity. and then when you go to paint it, it won't look good. (based on experience) if you do it yourself, and paint it, glossy black, I wouldn't recommend using Krylon Fusion Paint. people say it strips, mine hasn't stripped, but my did lose the glossy look to it, so its basically regular black now. hope this helps! good luck!

I've got a paint/tweed mixture for my interior. I would definately do it yourself. I used Kyrlon spray paint. Just remember to sand it down good and in between coats. It will save you money.

Did mine a few weeks ago:

LOL. No I bought those gauges on www.stylinconcepts.com. Took the needles off and removed the old gauges to replace them with the silver ones. I've recently had mine professionally painted this week. I will hopefully get them back tomorrow. Mine had a lot of scratches in them after awhile from people getting in and out of my truck (mainly on the door handle parts). A shop might charge you $150 or so to do most of the interior pieces. The shop I took mine to did it for free because I just got my emblems shaved there and I sent them a little business. You can try the spray paint. It's cheap enough to where if you do not like the results you can take them to a paint shop and have it done professionally.
