re-upolstering headliner

anyone every do this themself?...i want to replace mine so i bought some headliner material and i was just going to take off my headliner and lay the new fabric over my old one and apply glue..sounds good?

make sure you get some really good glue and make sure it doesnt bleed through. maybe even go as far as having the fabric wrap around to the top of the headliner and staple it down
