I got an auto dimming mirror with my overhead console and I would like to install it this weekend.

Question is how does one remove the stock mirror? Does it twist and then pull up/down?

I wanted to ask before I break it..lol

My suby had a weird method and I assume this is probably similar or what not..

just got to get under it with a screw driver and pry up...becareful not to scratch the glass

 

There is a locking clip in the mirror you need to release. IIRC mine was opposite the one one the expo mirror.
