Removing seats

Going to the junk yard tomorrow, getting new seats.

Wondering what size wrenches/sockets I need to bring. Have the basics, any allens or 12pts? Where are the bolts and how many? Thanks

My 98 is a T55 so at least that far back is torx. Good luck with the seat hunt

Hey thats not a bad idea although all the controls for the seat back will be on the side......but im sure that can be fixed if you know how to remove the covers on the seat.

might start a How-to on that one day!

ok, if you get an extra passenger seat, with some minor mods you can bolt it to the driver seat tracks

I did this in my 99, i had one small bracket i trimmed off and had to cut a whole for the seat adjusters(98+) I just happened to get the seat for free from a buddy and it worked great
