Rewrapping a shorty armrest?
I put a hole through mine over the years...this was my permanent fix....
Got a piece of nice/strong 1/5" thick wood and traced my old arm rest out of it. I used a jigsaw to cut it out and then made marks for mounting holes as well as an indentation for the front clip. Then I sanded the entire piece down, wrapped it in black vinyl stuffed with padding (all from a fabric shop) and staple gunned it down! Now I have a super strong arm rest that will last forever and looks great! I'll get a picture of it ASAP.
