Seat fitment question

i found a killer deal on a 2006 60/40 out of a reg cab and wondering if it will fit in my 98 super cab?

Reg and Super Cab Seats don't have the same seat rails. I belive the bolt pattern on the reg cab are a bit longer then the super cab.

The seat will work but you will need ext cab tracks from a newer truck. The 98 tracks won't fit the 06 seats.

I'm getting sick of my explorer seats, they are too large for the ranger interior and make it difficult to work under the dash and for other people to drive my truck that aren't 3'9''. i also don't like the recliner handles because they bend when people get in and out of the truck and slide down the seat corner. I'm also sick of the shorty console, it constantly squeaks and shakes no matter how much i try to tighten it and secure it. i like the 60/40 looks as well

Ok. It looks like you could fab up a spacer to make the seats sit higher, at least on my 02 60/40 it looks like you could.
