Seats Seat Belts Dash and Door Panels

I am looking for a few solid answers if anyone can help. I did a forum search but mostly found info regarding extended cab trucks. I am looking to replace the racing buckets that are mounted in my 97 reg cab and really like the Explorer seats from 96-2001.

Will these seats fit? Will they bolt into the factory holes? If not what mods are needed?

Also I know that the seat belts changed in 98. Will the seat belts out of an Explorer work? My truck doesn't have any at all.

Will the door panels from newer Rangers fit a 97?

Will the dash gauge bezel from newer Rangers fit a 97?

Sorry for all the questions but I am brand new into the Ranger scene and know there are a lot of similarities between the Ranger and Explorer and Ford didn't change the interiors all that much through out the years.

you need to swap the tracks from a regular cab for the seats to work

gauges will work
door panels should work

the stock seatbelts from my 99 buckle into the explorer seats

I put buckets out of a 02 extended cab in my 00 standard cab. I had to re-use my standard cab tracks. The backs of the seats come off with 2 bolts and the bottoms are 4 bolts.

completely different animal. your info will not work in any way for his truck.

Yes, they will fit. however, you will need to use stock 93-97 reg cab seat tracks. you will lose any power track movement that the explorer seats may have offered.

the explorer seat belt latches may work. however, they are mounted to a rail that slides back and forth with the seat. you will not use this rail in a reg cab. so you would have to bolt the belts to the side of the seat. best thing to do would be to get some from a junkyard or ebay.

yes, door panels are the same from 95-current. although, the style of the switches changed in 06 (maybe 04, never can remember)

if they are both ext cab, they should bolt in. if both are reg cab, you'll probably need to do a little work. if one is from a reg cab and the other ext cab, no way. also, you'll have to get your seat belt attached to the seat.

why do you want seats that are 6 years older than the truck?
