signal wire

im installing a air to fuel ratio gauge n need to know where the signal wire for the o2 sensors r on a 2000 ranger 3.0 4x4 and what color they r

You can use either of the two front sensors. Tapping in right at the PCM offers a much cleaner, drier location. These are the harness color codes:

DS: red/black
PCM pin 87

PS: gray/light blue
PCM pin 60

You can use either the Passenger Side or Driver Side sensor wire. My preference is to tap into the wire in the harness on the firewall near the Powertrain Control Module.
