Some Custom Work
5 Attachment(s)
I have been doing some work on the Ranger while I am also working on my 67 Mustang. I love FORDS! I think the pics speak for themselves. All leds everywhere in the truck, I like them so much better.
I recently go the KIWI wifi and it works great. I used it over the weekend with our Windstar and it helped us solve some problems, back to the Tranny shop for the ol' van. Attachment 127999 Attachment 128000 Attachment 128001 Attachment 128002 Attachment 128003 |
looks good! I did the same with red but redid it black cuz I got bored of it
|
nice truck... now lets see some pics of the mustang!!!!
|
love the white interior
been pondering it for mine.....might actually do it now what kind of paint did you use? |
dont u think there will lots of glare off the white and get dirty fast
|
Not any glare at all. I used Krylon glossy white and Krylon clear. I used the high end paint. With the clear, it really cleans easily. I like it a lot and it really makes it more personal. My wife is going to recover my seats in a Black/Gray/White color scheme. This is my Christmas present from her, I will get pics up when they get done.
I am thinking about ditching the carpet for the rubber mat. I am also getting a brush guard for the front of the truck, just got my taneau cover. I just got done putting Liner Xtreme in the bed as well. I will get pics of that and some of the other I did, like the rocker panel. It really looks good and throws things off. I am contemplating a light bar on the roof as well. |
looks good,
whats up with the red switch? missiles? eject? |
Looks good. I plan on doing some interior painting in the spring.

Some More Progress

I have been working over Christmas break on the truck and thought I would post some pics. The first one is of the truck bed liner that I painted on the side of the truck. I like how it throws off the white and really adds to the look of the truck.
Attachment 124871 Attachment 124872 The next pic is of a brush guard that I got that is actually for a 97 F150. I am modifiying the light wraps to get them to work. I made a custom bracket to mount the mid section and will be bolting it to the bumper. I don't have any pics of it, but somebody stopped real quick on a light that just turned green, I was about 3 car lengths behind, but it was raining and long story short, I totaled his car and just bent my bumper, well with this grill guard, I feel sorry for anyone who stops in front of me now. Attachment 124873 My wife is recovering my seats as part of my Christmas gift. We started working on the tonight and got some progress done. The top will be wraped in gray with a black insert and the little strip close to top will be white, then a FORD logo will be added. The last pic shows the color scheme. I love this truck and the more I do to it, the more I love it. I drove in my brothers full size the other day and well, it is just to big for me. The Ranger is just my size. But then again I am only 5 ' 6". Attachment 124874 Attachment 124875 |
Nice, I did the white in mine to but I need to re-do it. I cant decide to re-do the white or just black it all out. How hard was the gauge cluster to do? I need to open mine up to replace bulbs anyways so while im in there......

Everytime you paint your interior, god kills a kitten. Glad you like it, but I think it looks horrid. Along with the neons, and windshield banner.

:headache: As far as how hard it was to do the cluster, it was actually pretty easy. Just pry the plastic apart with a razor and then paint. |

Some other painted interiors
So on the topic of painting interiors, here are some that are truly horrid. I think mine is tasteful, these are just plain nasty.

Yeah, find out the number for the cluster and they were plug ins, I am leaning towards some different LEDS for the cluster, though, they are not very bright. I did take the needles off to paint them orange. Everything was actually very easy to do, just takes time.

So here is what it looks like, still working on the back black piece to get some wrinkles out, but I like how it turned out.
