Started a little project

So I last year I installed an Exploder radio bezel that has the rear window wiper control in it.

So I removed the switch and the plastic display thing above it. I sanded the display down to the clear.

Cut off the little plastic circle that lit the switch.

(no pic) but i put on some letter stickers and painted over it.

I then pulled off the stickers and this is what is left.

I dont know if I like it this way or with the stickers still in place, kinda gives it a raised look.
I plan on doing the same thing on the 4x4 switch. because on the exploder bezel it says 4x4 auto instead of high, or i can put the one in from the pics.
Im planning on putting lights behind it so that it shines through the letters

What do you think

Interesting, you gonna slap a 12v outlet in the hole?

Dude....PM me your address...what do you need? I got extra bezel's galore...loaded ones too...so plenty of extra cig/12v outlets.

I really want to see this done. I really like the idea.

Looks like it could use some good ol' fashioned TLC though along with a paintjob

And this idea actually looks pretty darn neat, Will be interested to see what your coloring scheme will look like when its all lit up =)

believe me i wanna see it done as much as you but cash and the fact that everything is in storage kinda hinders the project.
