Sticky Ignition switch

Ignition key switch is sticky sometimes. Is it ok to squirt a little, I mean a very little graphite in there to lube it a bit. I can't remember ever doing this lol.

I dont wanna mess with anything delicate in there obviously.

thanks all,

Is your gear selector fully in P when you are trying to turn the key? I have problems w/ mine every now and then.

Graphite may actually make it stick more. The factory uses a very thick oil/grease that is hard to find for the average person. The closest you might find would be something like lithium grease, but there's no way to get it into where you need it. You could try taking it to a local locksmith shop and ask them to just grease it up for you. They probably won't even charge you if you go to them.
