Street Glow-under dash....question...?

Okay, I'd like to put a couple neons under the dash just to light up the bottom interior a bit- probably green or blue.
Anyway, I'm wondering- the truck's getting a new remote starter/alarm put in... does anybody have any idea if I can get the neons wired up so that when I hit the remote starter and the truck starts up, can those neons be wired up to light up when the truck starts? Is there a way to "time" them somehow so that they go out after a set time once you start her up?
Also, can they then be wired along with whatever fuse/wire combo is set up for the dome light, so that whenever the door is opened up and the dome light goes on, those same neons will light up? Again, I'd like them timed so that they go out once the dome light fades off...
(I'm trying to set it up that way, so that if I don't use the remote and just use the key and open the truck, that the neons will still light up)....of course, it would be nice to still have a toggle switch or something to manually turn them on and off just for fun!
Hope I explained this right! I'm probably gonna stop in the place where I'm getting the remote put in....hopefully they can set this up once they start with the remote.
Thanks!

Sorry, just one more thing- I only mentioned StreetGlow 'cause that's what the local guys have on the wall....not sure of the quality. Thanks!

I'm talking to the guy tomorrow- he's gonna be pulling the dash for some work anyway, so I figured, why not have some fun and add something different inside the truck.

Update:
Well, it didn't get done the right way...I had a new starter/alarm system put in and had the neons done along with it.
Told the guy who runs the place, twice, exactly what I wanted - for the neons to be triggered from the same set up as the dome light...when you open the door (or start it with the remote). He said, no problem, easy enough to wire up. Left it there a few hours, he said it's all set up, ready to go. I asked, is it set up the way I wanted, and he said, yes, all set.
Well, when I got there, all they did was set it up with a little toggle switch, nothing wired up for a dome light replacement. Stupid looking- what am I gonna do, start up the truck, get in the dark truck, and then flick the toggle switch for the interior lights?
I gave up on this shop- I hope nobody in my city goes to this guy, he's totally unreliable. I called at least five times from the hospital where I work, and he ducked me the whole time. Had to go to him for the starter/remote since it was installed at his place and there was a problem with it...
I went today to a different shop with a good rep- they're the guys who are putting on my shocks and lift kit at the same time. They have no problem doing the setup for what I want, and actually gave me some better suggestions for a nicer look. Gonna get the neons at the same time that I have some tint put on.
