The heater/ac pulls air in from the cowl.

If there is enough soapy water being blown into the cowl I could see it come out a vent.

I have had small leaves and snow blow out of the vents.

I wasn't sure if you were talking about the vent in the door by the floor or the floor heater vent.

Just make sure your HVAC system is in the "off" position. This closes the system off from any debris while the truck is parked.

I got bored the other day and read my owners manual cover to cover........some neat stuff in there....LOL
The heater control section gives a description of how to leave the system for different circumstances when the truck is parked. Like to let the truck interior breath, leave the selector in face/floor. If it's dusty or snowing, leave the selector in "off".
Just read your manual for more details.

But even with mine open, I've never gotten suds in the interior.

Whenever i drive through the dryer it will fog my windows unless i turn it off.

Maybe I would stop getting leaves in the heater if I turned it off.

Make sure the drains for the heater box and cowl are clean. They should allow the water to drain out.
