Upgraded seats to Mountaineer Leather/power

Picked these babies up at the junkyard for around 50 bucks. Swapped my ranger rails over to them and voila, ranger has leather seats now. They are so much more comfy.

Haha yeah. That's how it was when I got it. It looks to be stitched with yarn.

I just went to my local pick-n-pull and they were just sitting in a mountaineer waiting for me to come and ****** them up. The driver seat was around 30, the passenger was like 20 or 25, the driver was more because it was full power. There was like 5-6 other expo/mercs with nice leather seats.

I swapped mine at the junkyard. I wanted my damn leather seats right then. So no power tools. I swapped the rails and put the 'neer rails and old ranger seats in my bed then left the yard.lol now I have a ranger seat in my living room.

95+ Ranger extended cabs may be fitted with:

*95-01 Explorer 4-door buckets
*2 door explorer sport buckets
*02-05 Explorer Sport-Trac buckets

single cabs, you'll have to play with the seat tracks, which i know nothing of since all 3 rangers i've had were 4 door extended cabs.

My Ranger is a 98 extended cab . I think the seats were from a 02 Mountaineer. I'm hoping somebody has done this and has some insight.

02 Mountaineer seats to a 98 Ranger extended cab. Has anybody done it?

Has anybody tried this? This Mountaineer seats are leather ,electric and a lot more comfortable. The lower back of the Ranger seats kill my back after 20 miles.

I tried that. It doesn't match. Unless somebody has a quick solution then ill be cutting the lower brackets on the ranger seats to drop the seats 2" and welding them back together and then welding them the the Mountaineer seats. I'd rather not go through all that so I might just visit a junkyard to find some more seats.

i know it doesn't match thats why i said they WONT bolt in lol. your only option is to cut and weld.

I was going to put fusion seats in my truck but it was more work than i wanted to put into it. I settled for eddie bauer 1998 explorer seats with full power options on both driver and passenger
