vents.....questions!!

ok, I want to remove my vents above my HU, move my HU up, and place my CB where my HU originally was. Now, my question is, will taking those vents out, and blocking the hose hurt anything? Any info would be greatley appreciated

I believe lifted97ranger is doing the same thing but with gauge pods in the vent spot. So I doubt it will affect anything. It's not like you are totally blocking the whole vent, the air can still circulate through the other vents.

The only thing it's going to hurt is your face when that cold wind blows out of only the two side vents. You can simply block-off the vent hole, or leave it as is for "cooling" behind the HU and CB.

He lives in the Pocono region of Pa(cold/snow) so I suspect he'd be doing more heating than cooling

From what I understand, he's going to block off the center vents so the air is routed to the vents by the doors.
