mats for over vinyl flooring

I'd like to put some mats for over my vinyl floor covering. WeatherTech mats look great...but...the WeatherTech website says their mats are "Not designed or recommended for models equipped with vinyl flooring."

Anyone know which mats will work over factory installed vinyl flooring?

I have vinyl flooring.. why on earth do you need mats to cover it? It's designed so you don't need them. Just wipe it down.

Exactly. Before I had nice seats I would open all 4 doors and use a leaf blower to clean out my interior.

I just got a set of Ford mats from AutoZone. I only have them to make getting sand out easier. Other than that, the floor can be completely cleaned in like 5 minutes max. If you want a cheap way out, grab a towel and just take it out when its wet/dirty

If you want to risk the chance of any of your pedals to get wedged under the mat, go ahead and get floor mats. theres a reason weathertech's site says not to use their mats with a vinyl floor.

That's what I was thinking.. it would just slide around.

I made the mistake of using Armor All on my vinyl floor once.. slipped.. knee into dash.. never again.

On the 66 F100 I used to have, this is true, because the floor was level with the exit/rocker panel, and you could just take a broom and sweep it right out. But on Rangers, the floor pan is set down in, so it's pretty hard just to wipe it down. I have a set of E-bay (somewhat cheapie) mats that I cut down to fit, and secured them somewhat by squeezing the outer edge under the bottom of the kick panel.

doublesided tape works well to keep them in place
