Went to the junkyard today..

Today I went to the junk yard just to look around and I came out with a full explorer center console and a roof center console for my friend for $20. I felt like taking on a project and I have my work ahead of me. For those of you who have them do you hook of the air to work for it?

yeah that's what I figured, but the motor looked in great shape and everything was there so I said why not. Is there a how-to?

you'll have to get some dryer tube or flexible tubing and get the air from the floor vents.

When I put mine in I ran the wiring for the blower to the rear defroster switch on the explorer radio bezel(modded it so it was just on and off) and took out the controls on the centre console. Its great in winter up here for quickly taking the fog off the rear window(where I work I leave with a lot of moisture in my clothes so my windows fog up pretty bad). Cant remember how I wired it all up but it wasn't that hard to figure out.
