What is EATC?
Is it "Explorer Automatic Temperature Control"?

it automatically controlls the temperature inside the cab.......kinda like a thermostat in your house....you set a temp and it keeps it there on its own....

Ok, now I get it. I actually had a couple of cars that had that sort of thing, a Mercedes and an Acura. Hated it. I prefer to just grab a **** and turn.

It stands for Electronic Automatic Temperature Control.

it really isn't that much........i love mine......won't go back to manual in a Ranger....
