I've got my engine switches in the sunglasses compartment of my OHC for when my 5.0 goes in.

Covert is the best.

I always put switches in stealthy places because that way people cant see them, and my friends cant mess with them lol.

When I had my old 5.0 stang I had my fog light switch hidden inside the ashtray. I worked pretty well and it was out of the way.

in my first gen....there was a strip of plastic trim across the dash about knee level (the rest was metal)

i put my switches in a neat little row in between the cigarette lighter and the steering column.

bad idea

they were right at knee level and in the crash i was slammed forward and those switches cut my knee all to hell and i broke them clean off.....

What color is your interior? I can pick you up one and ship it to you. You just want the ash tray for that dash piece right?

Here's where I put my switches:

There's space for 1 or 2 more there, so when I add more lights I can add more switches ...
as if this wasn't enough:

That looks really good! What'd you use to cut the second hole for the second fog switch?

Dremel and a lot of time... I wanted it to look as close to factory as possible... Dremel with cutting bit and the sander.

Well, it looks pretty darn factory to me. Even looks like you got the edges to turn in a little, just like the original fogs. Very nice job.

I was about to order 5 mini-switches to put in the pocket right below my stereo before i wrecked my truck. I was gunna put a piece of plastic across the front and have the switches evenly spaced, and run out to a second relay box next to the P/S brake booster.

I added fog lights to my XLT after the fact, I have that two bin catch all over the trans hump and opted to put my switch on that. I had to buy 15/16 wood drill bit for the size hole for the switch. Its almost the same type, blue led light tosses of a big shine on the floor.

It will only work if you have an aftermarket radio but it works great and there is room for 6 switches like I have. easy to reach and looks decent when done right. I have heard you can get regular rocker switches in that gap also. I have had them in the pocket beside the airbag switch also but wasn't crazy about them if you use the switch alot.
