yes i got lucky. the bed is the only part with real damage. and most of them are huge dents that i can knock out with a dead blow hammer from behind. some major scratches though. ill have to fill them in so they dont rust.

but really, if you ever want to come down let us know.. we can set something up somewhere.
I think it would be a blast, not this year though, maybe next? got too many things planned as is.

I am just not ready to roll it. :)

no 42s yet, gotta wait on the 5.4L. Then that D44 will be crying for sure.

dude if you come down here and wheel with us, youll be crying to get rid of that d44 before the trip home. lmao. especially at krocks. that granite isnt forgiving. finds the weak link in everything. but it wont be open next year. shutting down end of june. they got bought out...

I was going to do it the same as the rear. I am so used to it without flares that this last year has been kinda different. lol. I have cracked and split the front flares all up they are about to come off, I just dont feel like suffocating my self in the shop like i did the rear bedsides. I had dust everywhere, so I am waiting on a nice warm day.

what exactly did you do? is it in any build thread? any pics? i pulled my rear flare off cuz they either get knocked off with my tire rubbage or they just rub like crazy and get torn up...

basically those flares cut a nice line in my paint all the way around. I took a cut off wheel and cut about a 1/2" from that line all the way around. Then I put one of those sanding wheels with that flaps of sand paper on the 4.5" grinder and slowly ground the left over 1/2" away. Until it was smooth and round.

I then picked up some of that door trim like stuff at any auto parts store(black plastic) it has a glue inside it. and ran it around the sharpe edge.

fuel cell, it was rattling around really bad the one day when we were out messing around so I had a strap in the bed, fixed the issue. I have pulled that bed off so many times it gets old. I am only gonna pull it off one more time and that time I am going to cut it all up. LOL

they're closing for GOOD, gone, bye bye, no more K-rocks, it SUCKS!!

and yea, that granite will tell the truth about any questionable part in your drive line w/o a doubt .. I'm really considering getting some 37" Maxxis Creepy Crawlers but idk how the 44 is going to like that..
