2010 Summer PNW Baker Lake Meet?

Hey guys of the PNW!

i go camping alot at baker lake which is about an hour and a half from mt. vernon (30 min south of bellingham). i live in sedro-woolley so it's about 45 minutes to get to the lake. but this would be during the summer, as there are many camping spots that are open with PLENTY of parking. there is great trout fishing, and many oppertunities to take excellent photos of many mountains, including mt. baker. all trucks would easily be able to scoot around up there. there are several places to go on casual day hikes, including a board walk through some huge trees. also, there are many public access logging roads. i think is more than a perfect spot for a large meet, besides the fact it would be a long drive for alot of you. any considerations would be great and since winter just started we have a long time to plan and for those of you with jobs, get time of work. thanks guys, let me know what's up.

But the northerners still come...and the deep southerners from oregon come too...

Just keep yours some time away from August when we have our big Blue Lake Meet in Portland, 3rd annual. Ours will likely be the 2nd or 3rd weekend in Aug.

I think a small issue keeps coming up....there are alot of us PNW'ers and we all mostly want to meet but we all have different ideas on where and when....I think we need to just talk a thread talking about time and place that works best for everyone. I am allways interested in meets.....i just don't want to try to figure out what ones really going to go down or i would just end up going to a duzen meets. anyways

For some reason every PNW meet that comes up, I end up being deployed for. haha. But if I'm around, I'll definitly show up for a camping trip. I'd even bring the kids.
