I would suggest keeping the wheels on the ground. A bent steering knuckle is $105 fix.

Wheels off the ground is fine too...just keep in mind that the limiter for uptravel on the suspension is the shocks...if you are airborne you WILL have to replace the upper shock bushings and possibly the front shocks after...i had to every time so far..i hope to make some limit straps before then

do you mean doing jumps or bouncing around like i was doing? i never looked at my bushings but it doesn't seem like i've had any damage done aside from what happened to my skid plate/radiator. i have a feeling something also caused my water pump to start leaking at a lower portion. i forget where the tech said it was leaking from.

any kind of driving that causes your suspension to leach its uptravel limit, which im sure you did...inspect them and make sure the upper washer for the shock bushing isnt inverted and the bushings are in one piece

I'm going to keep this in mind. Been wanting to go and it seems like it could be a very good turnout! I know 03edge could possibly want to go as well. Hopefully I'll get some new parts on the truck by then so I know it can withstand the Dunes! ha

yeah Zack I say call it a for sure deal for the 3rd weekend in June. Looks like that will work out for a good turn out and give us some extra room to breath for any work needing done on our trucks
