Anybody up for some wheeling in Colliers Mills (Jackson, NJ)
I went horseback riding through the trails at Colliers Mills yesterday and there is alot of water out there. I was hoping to get the Ranger out there to play around, but I need somebody else there in case I get stuck. Is anybody interested? I'm free next Saturday, or any day this week after 5.

I was out there yesterday with some friends. We found an awesome trail by a hill climb, it turned out to be a fire trail that got a bit tight, but it was fun and definitely tough.

Dave, it would depend on the day. If it's on a Saturday, I'd have a seat open, but chances are that I wouldn't on a Sunday - the wife works on Saturdays.
You should see the trails I went through on Saturday with Adam and his friend Mike (Mike had his Jeep). They were off-camber fire trails right off the hill climb, and we could barely fit our trucks through there... I'd like to see a Super Duty out there! It would clear the way and make my truck get less scratches next time.

Never said you had to have a Ranger to meet up in the first place.
The only thing you really want for these trails is a truck you don't mind getting scratched up every once in a while.

They've gotta be registered to be out there anyhow. I've been toying with the idea of getting a bike for the trials, it looks fun... now that I've got the Mustang payments, that may never happen.

There are light trails where you can get through in 2wd out there. As for the others, it depends on the stuff your doing... on many of them you can try to get as far as you can, then have a tow rope handy, just in case.

Not if you take a fire trail barely big enough to fit your truck through...
We had some major fun out there last weekend on one of them. If you tried giving it enough gas to get over some of the obstructions in 2wd, you'd end up in a tree, or banging the hell out of your undercarriage. I scratched the hell out of my truck, but I've got the itch and I'm thinking about doing it again.
