hey matt, if I bring the plate...think you could cut my trailer hitch 3in, and re-weld it so it's right under the rear bumper instead of being a eye sore on the *** end of my truck like it is now?

 

if you can make it so you can attach the 2 parts with bolts also sure.

i'll weld it too but it takes a lot of stress so bolts are a good idea.

 

just cut the mounting plate then cut 3 inches out and reweld, bolt up. Good to go

 

cut, weld+bolt then bolt back to frame
