To answer your previous question, I don't know much in the L/A area either. It's just a little closer for Dave and I, so I figured I'd throw it out there.

 

the l/a area sucks. i live there. but im out of the state until june now. i mean ill be home over easter weekend but thats only 3 days give or take

whenever it is ill be there. probably not with a ranger though, i totaled mine today on the new bridge in augusta this morning. i WILL get it back on the road some day though!!!!!

i was on my way to work at 5:30ish and i spun out on the rt3 bridge in augusta. as soon as the truck hit the bridge, both tires broke loose and she went sideways instantly. there was no time to correct or anything. so the truck slammed straight on into the guard rail, cleaned the front end off, bent the ends of the frame rails almost 90 degrees, and then proceeded to spin around 3 times in the same lane before sliding to a halt. im gonna try to get some pics up soon cause i wanna see what if you guys think i can salvage the cab. i hope its not tweaked too much.

im pretty pissed about the whole ordeal. both of my 2 week old modded corners are junk, as well as one brand new 06 tail light, my newish 08 windshield with the ranger drop down $350!!!!, the tool box i got for x-mas went into the river, and the f***ing powerdome is junk!. oh, and one of my tires popped. man i hate black ice.

the cop was a dink too. it took him forever to get there after i called and then he tried explaining to me what really happened after he asked me what happened and called me a liar. fortunately he didnt give me a summons, almost but not quite.

so now im looking at, ugh, CARS! i have a big dislike for sitting on the ground. might be getting a v dub. i want a tdi but there arent many around here. we'll see

 

damn man that sucks, if you do end up having to get rid of it i wouldnt mind taking some of your parts

 

im going to see if i can make the cab work and if i can then im going to make a twin tube frame (like the front half of beards truck) and go from there. i already have my eb axles so ill throw them under there and some 35 or 37's so i dont have to worry about swapping over the ifs. definitely have to get going on it, i feel so incomplete without it, im lost!! stay tuned for project resurection or project do over, i havent decided on a name yet. lol
