I'm heading to Milan Dragway on June the 10th to go play with the truck. Its a test and tune night from 5 to 10. Hopefully someone else here might be interested in going. I think Toreador4x4 is so we will have the time clocks changed from seconds to minutes ahead of time. Haha j/k Justin.

Awesome Brain! And I would LOVE to try your drag radials. My truck does not hook very well, and it would be amazing to see how it did with traction!

 

They are only 26" tall tho. If you think they wouldnt be to short I will unbolt em and thow em in my truck.

 

I don't know 2 much about drag tires, but I would think they would be fine. All I know is when I run my 31x10.5's i spin them way to easily and lose out on 60 foot times. If you don't mind unbolting them, I would take them for a couple quarters.

 

What gears do you have? Im just worried you might run out of motor...going from a 31" tire to a 26" tire would be like going from 3.73 gears to 4.56 gears.

It would nasty to the 1/8th mile tho!

 

4.10's. On 31's, at the end of the quarter i was topping out third gear.

 

I decided i'm going to wait a week or 2 to go to Milan. The weather man is calling for rain tomorrow evening, so I don't want to go through all the trouble and not get to make any passes.

This weekend is the NMRA race and I am already seeing team trucks parked in Dundee waiting for weds T&T so I bet it will be packed weds.

 

That's good to know. My main reason for going on a wednesday is to avoid people. I like when I can make lots of passes with short waits.

Is the NMRA the All Ford Nationals on Saturday?

 

FYI- If anyone is interested in attending the Ford Nationals at Milan, I just picked up some free "Spectator Side" admission tickets for Saturday 6/13. I got mine at Varsity Ford in Ann Arbor. I don't know who else would have them.
