Minnesota Ice meet Part Deux

since there were safety concerns at the January 23rd event (icy streets)
the event was cancelled.
Does anyone want to have this meet say sometime during february?
If nobody's interested, we'll consider the 2010 ice meet officially "cancelled"

Terry.

I'm Game, lets Communicate a bit more this time.. Everyone Post their Phone# if they think they're coming or just PM it. Mine's 612-723-3538
Also my parents own Trappers Bar & Grill in Lino Lakes if you guys wanna have a meet there sometime. It could be fun, we have a party room downstairs and if we could get a bunch of people that would be pretty cool.

this was the first time nobody showed up (on time or close to it) so, i doubt we'll need to post our phone numbers And i doubt that another ice/sleet/rain storm would happen again.
anyways, Maybe a meet at Round lake, either on feb 6, 13, 20, 27. you guys can decide.

You sure you wanna do it on a wednesday? Because I'm sure alot of our members work atleast a 9-5 job and it would be kind of hard to have them come down. I don't know what everyones schedule is but I'm completely free on weekends and stuff. I'd say we should do it on a sunday or something as most people don't work on sundays. That would give people like Andy a chance to drive there.

I was coming up off Lake Peltier at around 12 at night on Friday and A deer came out when I was going thru the boat launch area and I swerved to avoid it but all that crap is slick snow so my rear end slid out and went into the ditch and It rolled at like 15 mph It happened soooo slow that the mirrors didn't break but the windshield did. All said and Done the Front left side of the truck is pretty messed up and the roof is dented but all the Supports are ok and nothing is bent out of place. I don't have full coverage so my Grandpa is gonna help me fix it. He's done body work since the early 70's on classic cars fabricating fenders and stuff. I'll post some pictures soon.

That date Works for me. Damn sucks about the roll man. Thats why they say a lot of times its better to hit the deer then swerve and crash. I did and f'd up my radiator and lower valence etc in a ditch, insurance didn't cover and sai i was better off hitn the deer. I was like wtf

True but I'm 18 and insurance wants to tear me a new hole. It sucks! But whatever I'll get it fixed eventually before spring. Its not that bad I guess.
