I know we are supposed to get some **** storm late in week, I guess theyre saying about ice and what not... the usual january BS.

I would be up for it in the early spring march-april. Hopefully by then I'll have my hub swapped out and my BL on (Ive only had it for almost a year now.

I'm up for a spring run. That is if I can find the parts I need. I took my D35 apart today and found that I broke more than just the u-joint. I snapped the ears clean off the shaft.

for now its on... UNLESS i dont get my brakes done in time, my brakes are shot and i will not drive 300 miles and threw mud and whatnot wit **** for brakes... but im hoping i can get it done in time lol

 

o the rears are fun...ive snaped springs in them, ebrake cables wheel cylinders..its awesome..esp when you have to use a sledge in 5 degree weather to knock your drum off so you can fix your ebrake cable.

 

i kno i hate dums... I want to convert to discs!!!!

 

I'm working on it Joe. I called the guy that picked me up from R/C last time to see if he could help me with the swap. I'm waiting to hear back from him.

 

Man, I haven't been around in a lil while and thought ya'll already went.

 

He said he would like to help me with the swap. Just need to call him and set up a time frame for when we are going to do it. And I need to get the axles from Bill.

 

Sorry guys wont be making it this time... I was changing the brakes today, finished the front but ran into a problem with the drums. We'll make a trail run in the spring, hope to see u guys then!

what issue did you run into, ive got spare parts for drums laying around.

 

Never got above 25 here plus the wind chill was brutal. Glad a stayed in all day.

 

Yeah I'm glad I stayed in today too Ed. I'm usually ok with the cold but today was just insane.

Spring really needs to hurry up.

 

yeah we'll deff have a spring trail ride... im not diggin the cold this year... normally im ok with it but so far im just not feelin it lol. So maybe in late march we can head up there.

 

i have never been. i know of a couple that have been and say its awesome. i have a buddy with a ranger that wants to go so we should pick a date

 

It's funny that Joe and I were just talking about this today too. The next one we do is going to be planned for late March.

D@mn it... i need a 4wd... i only have a 2wd ranger... i doubt that they will let a 2wd truck on them trails. and i probably get stuck every 50 yards or so...

 

They don't alow 2wd's, my roomate couldn't bring his truck because of it. And to be honest, 2wd's wouldnt make it
